The University College for Financial Studies (CUNEF) is a higher education centre attached to the Complutense University of Madrid. CUNEF is managed by the Fundación Española de Banca para Estudios Financieros (FEBEF) wich was recently stablished by the Spanish Banking Association (AEB) to strengthen the College's activity.
CUNEF teaches a Business Administration Degree and its students are, for all relevant purposes, official university students. Once they have completed their studies, they receive their degree from the Complutense University.
Since its foundation, the College has been geared towards finance. This does not mean that all its graduates decide to seek employment in the banking sector (only some of them work in banks or other financial institutions), but it does ensure that students receive a wide-ranging financial training.
To complete students' knowledge in this field, the College has since 1996 offered a Master’s Degree in Finance.
It also offers a programme of seminars specialising in subjects relevant to the financial world.
